Abz was recommended to us by a friend who knows many DJ’s in the music industry but decided to ask Abz first and it was evident why from the moment we started the conversation to the end of his set. Getting married in the South of France, we needed a DJ that was flexible, happy to travel and go above and beyond. Abz fulfilled that spec and some. Although British, we live in Australia and Abz made time for various Skype calls with not only us but also our wedding planner at unsociable hours such as first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Abz also very kindly attended our rehearsal the day before to ensure he was familiar with the event space and how he would execute Plan A and Plan B If it rained, which it did. Abz was a consistently excellent communicator, coming back to me with urgency every time I sent a message. Abz made us feel truly valued and listened to. We had a tight budget we needed to stick to and Abz was excellent in respecting that when it came to flights, accommodation and car hire. He ensured his costs were kept as low as possible. Abz really took the time to understand the vibe we wanted to create for our guests and went above and beyond to provide a next level party that our guests are still talking about! He went beyond his agreed finish time, took requests from party goers and had an infectious energy that got everyone on the dancefloor and not wanting to leave (even to get a drink!). Above all, Abz is a genuine, warm hearted, reliable and happy go lucky person. His music selection is on point, he is able to read a crowd with ease and just know what to play next. I wish Abz lived in Sydney, I would be using him for my 30th in March next year (hint hint, nudge nudge Abz! Haha)
